Love is a feeling that makes people do stupid, dangerous as well as magnanimous and bold things.
But what is love really?
People define love differently, so they show it differently and have different expectations.
Most of the problems couples experience is a result of a miscommunication in love or unfulfilled expectation around love. Every year, the month of February brings joy for the couples. They celebrate their love and togetherness on Valentine’s Day.
The origins of Valentine’s Day stems from the third century, when a Roman priest was punished to death on February 14. According to one legend, Claudius II had prohibited marriage for young men, claiming that bachelors made better soldiers. Valentine continued to secretly perform marriage ceremonies, imprisoned by Claudius, fell in love with the daughter of his jailer. Before he was executed, he allegedly sent her a letter signed “from your Valentine.”
Eventually the custom of sending cards or messages to those whom one admired became the accepted way of celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Till now, couples celebrate this day.
